The challenge

Your Place My Gym initially engaged Harmonised Marketing to start producing results in Google Ads, where their previous agency couldn’t.

Whilst we were able to produce improvement, the business had plenty more potential and was significantly let down by its online presence.

The assessment

The fitness industry is saturated, but mobile personal trainers was a gap in the market that had not been well exploited at the online level.

The opened a real opportunity for Your Place My Gym to be an early mover and dominate the space.

The approach had to be right. Knowing that most people that were interested in mobile personal training had a multitude of pain points:

  • Time-poor
  • Needed accountability
  • Needed guidance on how to exercise
  • Intimidated to start exercising in public
  • Facing challeneges to exercise such as disabilities

Creating a the impression of an experience that is friendly, welcoming and fun looking was crucial to converting more of the traffic that we were paying for.

The approach

Like many businesses in the early stages, Your Place My Gym needed to make every marketing dollar work hard. Rather than jumping straight into a full website, we started with the smartest first step: a well-designed, high-converting landing page built specifically for Google Ads traffic.

That single investment completely changed the performance of the campaign, more than quadrupling the number of enquiries generated through their ads.

But that was only the beginning. After a year of building momentum, growing the business, and proving the market, it was time to take the next step. We evolved the brand, sharpened the messaging, and built the full website we had planned from the start, giving Your Place My Gym a stronger digital presence to support the next stage of growth.

Upon launch

The new website was able to maintain the initial number and quality of leads coming directly from Google Ads.

The biggest impact upon launch was the full website’s ability to dominate in Google’s organic rankings, reaching page one overnight for major terms such as:

  • Mobile Personal Trainers Perth
  • Mobile Personal Trainers Brisbane

As well as a range of suburbs around Perth and Brisbane that we had built pages around – all with unique and location specific content.

The results

Since launch, the new website has continued to improve Your Place My Gym’s organic rankings month after month, generating significantly more free traffic from Google than before. More importantly, that traffic is now turning into genuine enquiries.

With a more consistent web experience across both paid and organic traffic, branded searches for Your Place My Gym have also grown significantly. More people are not just discovering the business, they are actively searching for it by name.

From a broader business perspective, things have never been stronger. Your Place My Gym is continuing to grow, with demand for mobile personal training increasing to the point where they are constantly looking for new trainers to keep up.
